Benelli Leoncino Trail, nelle concessionarie a 5.990 euro
Debutta nelle concessionarie italiane la Benelli Leoncino Trail, versione “all terrain” della moderna e divertente bicilindrica della Casa di Pesaro, proposta nelle tinte rosso, argento e nero a 5.990 euro.
Bicilindrico da 48 CV, ruote tassellate e anteriore da 19”
Con il modello stradale, questa due ruote Benelli condivide il motore da 500 cc, bicilindrico quattro tempi, raffreddato a liquido, con una potenza di 48 CV (35 kW) a 8500 giri/min e coppia di 46 Nm (4,6 kgm) a 6000 giri/min. La versione Trail monta però ruote tassellate, con cerchi a raggi in lega di alluminio, da 19” all’anteriore e 17” al posteriore e prevedono rispettivamente pneumatici da 110/80-R19 e 150/70-R17.
Sospensioni regolabili
Le sospensioni, sempre regolabili, presentano all’anteriore una forcella upside-down con steli del diametro di 50 millimetri mentre al posteriore un forcellone oscillante con monoammortizzatore laterale ed escursione da 55 millimetri. Come impianto frenante troviamo invece all’avantreno un doppio disco da 320 millimetri di diametro, con pinze flottanti a due pistoncini. Al retrotreno è montato un disco di 260 mm di diametro ed una pinza a singolo pistoncino ed ABS. Il telaio è un traliccio in tubi d’acciaio a vista, la cui parte terminale è nascosta sotto il serbatoio. Il proiettore presenta una tecnologia led, la strumentazione è interamente digitale. Immancabile il Leone che svetta sul parafango anteriore, che caratterizza la gamma.

Il GP d’Italia – quattordicesima tappa del Mondiale F1 2018 – è stato vinto da Lewis Hamilton: per il pilota britannico della Mercedes si tratta del quarto successo a Monza negli ultimi cinque anni.

Finiture curate, tanto spazio per le gambe dei passeggeri posteriori e un ottimo cambio automatico: sono questi i principali punti di forza della nuova V60, degna erede delle mitiche station wagon Volvo. L’ultima creazione della Casa svedese – familiare che punta più sul comfort che sul piacere di guida – ha però un prezzo alto e una dotazione da integrare.
L’arrivo sul mercato della nuova V60 è una buona notizia per gli amanti delle station wagon Volvo: la seconda generazione della familiare svedese – sviluppata sulla stessa piattaforma adottata dalla SUV XC60 – ha abbandonato le forme sportive (ma anche poco pratiche) dell’antenata per puntare sullo spazio e sul comfort.
Nella nostra prova su strada abbiamo avuto modo di testare la versione D4 Geartronic nell’allestimento più lussuoso Inscription. Scopriamo insieme i suoi pregi e difetti.
Città
Nonostante l’assenza pressoché totale di protezioni per la carrozzeria (occhio alle “toccatine” in manovra: per fortuna i sensori di parcheggio posteriori sono di serie) e i 4,76 metri di lunghezza (non pochi) la seconda generazione della Volvo V60 si difende bene in città.
Merito di sospensioni dalla taratura tendente al morbido che regalano una buona risposta sulle sconnessioni pronunciate e di un motore scattante (7,9 secondi per accelerare da 0 a 100 chilometri orari) che inizia a spingere in maniera convincente sopra i 1.500 giri.
Fuori città
La nuova Volvo V60 D4 Geartronic è – come abbiamo visto – una station wagon caratterizzata da un motore grintoso (un 2.0 biturbodiesel da 190 CV e 400 Nm di coppia) ma è una vettura che preferisce le andature rilassate.
L’eccellente cambio automatico a 8 rapporti offre passaggi marcia fluidi ma nel misto stretto bisogna fare i conti con uno sterzo più turistico che diretto e con un comportamento stradale poco agile.
Autostrada
Comoda, silenziosa e con freni potenti: la Volvo V60 protagonista della nostra prova su strada in autostrada se la cava bene come le rivali dirette. Solo nei cambi di direzione alle alte velocità avremmo gradito una maggiore reattività.
Capitolo autonomia: la Casa scandinava dichiara una percorrenza di 1.196 km con un pieno di gasolio anche se nella realtà è impossibile arrivare a quota 1.000.
Vita a bordo
La seconda generazione della Volvo V60 ha fatto grossi passi avanti rispetto all’antenata in termini di versatilità: i passeggeri posteriori ora hanno tantissimi centimetri a disposizione delle gambe (peccato solo per il tunnel ingombrante) e il bagagliaio soddisfa le esigenze di una famiglia grazie alla forma regolare del vano, alla presenza di numerose soluzioni per fissare i bagagli e alla capienza di 529 litri (non altrettanto convincenti, invece, i 1.441 litri ottenibili in configurazione a due posti).
L’abitacolo è rifinito con grande cura – meglio della concorrenza tedesca – ma la scelta di concentrare la maggior parte dei comandi sull’ampio touchscreen (specialmente quelli del climatizzatore) non aiuta la concentrazione alla guida.
Prezzo e costi
La Volvo V60 D4 Geartronic Inscription oggetto della nostra prova su strada ha un prezzo molto alto (49.720 euro) abbinato a una dotazione di serie da integrare. Se è vero che a bordo troviamo accessori come l’accensione senza chiave, il Bluetooth, il cambio automatico, i cerchi in lega da 18”, il climatizzatore automatico bizona, il cruise control, il Drive Mode con 4 modalità di guida, i fari a LED, l’impianto audio Sensus Connect con High Performance Sound, gli inserti decorativi in legno, gli interni in pelle, il navigatore, la presa 12V nel bagagliaio, il portellone posteriore con apertura e chiusura a comando elettrico, i sedili con altezza e supporto lombare regolabili elettricamente, i sensori di parcheggio posteriori e gli specchietti retrovisori ripiegabili elettricamente è altrettanto vero che sorprende dover pagare a parte su una vettura di questo blasone accessori utili come il cruise control adattivo (1.650 euro), i fendinebbia (220 euro), la radio DAB (340 euro) e la telecamera posteriore (490 euro).
I consumi sono buoni (21,7 km/l dichiarati, sempre sopra i 15 in qualsiasi condizione di guida), così come la tenuta del valore (le familiari Volvo sono da sempre degli assegni circolari) mentre la garanzia è di soli due anni a chilometraggio illimitato (il minimo di legge).
Sicurezza
La dotazione di sicurezza della nuova Volvo V60 è completa: airbag frontali, laterali e a tendina, assistente alle partenze in salita, attacchi Isofix, controlli di stabilità e trazione, frenata automatica, Lane Keeping Aid (interviene con leggere correzioni dello sterzo in caso di superamento delle linee di corsia), monitoraggio pressione pneumatici, Oncoming Lane Mitigation (aiuta il conducente a evitare collisioni quando si effettua un sorpasso in presenza di veicoli provenienti dalla direzione opposta), Pedestrian Protection System (in caso di collisione con un pedone a velocità tra i 25 e i 50 km/h contribuisce a ridurre la gravità delle lesioni sollevando la parte posteriore del cofano), protezione contro il colpo di frusta, riconoscimento segnali stradali, rilevamento stanchezza conducente e Run-Off Road Mitigation (sistema che interviene sullo sterzo e sui freni per evitare l’uscita di strada).
Una dotazione da dieci abbinata a un comportamento stradale che avremmo voluto più agile nei cambi di direzione improvvisi. Visibilità e frenata nella media del segmento.

Come da noi previsto Lewis Hamilton ha vinto il GP d’Italia: il leader del Mondiale F1 2018 – grazie anche a un’eccellente strategia Mercedes – è riuscito a trionfare a Monza per la quarta volta negli ultimi cinque anni davanti alla Ferrari di Kimi Räikkönen (2° dopo aver conquistato la pole position ieri) e alla Mercedes di Valtteri Bottas (3°).
Sebastian Vettel ha rovinato la propria gara al via dopo aver toccato Hamilton: ripartito dalle retrovie, è stato autore di una buona rimonta che lo ha portato fino alla quarta posizione. Ora i punti che lo separano in classifica sono 30, con sette gare ancora da disputare.
Mondiale F1 2018 – GP Italia: le pagelle
Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes)
Quarta vittoria a Monza negli ultimi cinque anni (e quinta negli ultimi sette): anche stavolta Lewis Hamilton ha vinto il GP d’Italia ma lo ha fatto con una Mercedes non favorita.
Il pilota britannico – reduce da tre successi e due secondi posti nelle ultime cinque prove del Mondiale F1 2018 – è sempre più in testa al campionato. Meritatamente.
Kimi Räikkönen (Ferrari)
A Monza Kimi Räikkönen ha ottenuto la pole position (con il giro più veloce nella storia della F1, oltretutto: 263,588 km/h di velocità media) e ha disputato un’ottima gara (2° posto e 100° podio in carriera). Due i fattori che gli hanno impedito di vincere: il pit-stop anticipato (per colpe non sue) e l’usura degli pneumatici (dovuta anche ad uno stile di guida troppo aggressivo, necessario per tenere dietro Hamilton).
Anche nel GP d’Italia “Iceman” ha mostrato ottime cose: sesto piazzamento in “top 3” negli ultimi sette Gran Premi del Mondiale F1 2018.

Sebastian Vettel ha mancato la pole ieri mentre oggi ha buttato al vento un podio sicuro toccando Hamilton nel primo giro e finendo nelle retrovie.
Voto dieci per la rimonta che ha permesso al pilota tedesco di limitare i danni chiudendo la gara in quarta posizione, voto sei per tutti i punti persi in questo Mondiale F1 2018.
Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes)
Valtteri Bottas è salito sul podio (3° e quinto piazzamento consecutivo in “top 5”) solo grazie alla penalizzazione di 5 secondi rimediata da Verstappen (troppo “aggressivo” nel difendersi dagli attacchi del finlandese).
Il driver scandinavo è però stato decisivo nel GP d’Italia quando verso metà corsa ha rallentato Räikkönen favorendo la rimonta di Hamilton.
Ferrari
Anche quest’anno – nonostante la prima fila monopolizzata da una monoposto velocissima – la Ferrari non è riuscita a vincere il GP d’Italia a Monza.
Vettel ci ha messo del suo ma gli uomini di Maranello si sono anche fatti ingannare dal finto pit-stop della Mercedes anticipando in modo esagerato il cambio delle gomme della vettura di Räikkönen.

Lexus RC, svelato il restyling 2019
Lexus ha svelato il restyling della RC. La coupé sportiva giapponese sfoggia un look aggiornato e novità tanto tecniche quanto meccaniche. Il Salone di Parigi 2018, a inizio ottobre, sarà la vetrina internazionale dove farà il suo debutto in anteprima mondiale, per poi sbarcare sul mercato non prima della prima parte del 2019.
Per ora il brand premium di Toyota ha svelato le prime immagini e informazioni della nuova Lexus RC 2019.
Più conforme al nuovo family feeling
Esteticamente adotta piccole novità che, oltre a migliorare l’aerodinamica, la allineano a livello di immagine alle compagne di gamma LC e LS.
I ritocchi coinvolgono soprattutto la parte frontale con nuovi paraurti e prese d’aria ridisegnate. Debuttano anche nuovi fari a LED con la firma luminosa per le luci diurne.
Anche il paraurti posteriore ha subito lievi ritocchi con fari più sofisticati, anch’essi con tecnologia LED e disegno a ‘L’.
La paletta dei colori disponibili per la carrozzeria si arricchisce con due nuove tinte: Sky Blue e Fare Yellow e nel caso dell’allestimento F Sport sfoggia nuovi cerchi in lega da 19 pollici, oltre alla nuova griglia frontale usata per tutta la linea F Sport di Lexus.
Novità anche per l’abitacolo
All’interno della nuova Lexus RC 2019 troviamo un nuovo poggiabraccia per il guidatore, un nuovo orologio analogico (lo stesso montato anche sulla LC) e nuove opzioni di personalizzazione, tra cui rifiniture in alluminio Naguri e diversi colori per personalizzare l’abitacolo.
Telaio e motore rivisti
Altre novità per la Lexus RC 2019 riguardano il telaio e la meccanica, con modifiche rivolte al miglioramento dell’handling e delle performance: le sospensioni sono state regolate con nuove impostazioni, mentre la risposta del 2.0 litri turbo è stata resa più rapida in modo da offrire un’accelerazione più diretta.

La Lotus 340 R è molto più di un’Elise con l’esoscheletro, è l’essenza della guida, l’incarnazione perfetta del pensiero di Colin Chapman: “less is more”. E in questo caso, “less” è stato preso fin troppo alla lettera. Prodotta in pochi esemplari dal 1999 al 2000, la Lotus 340 R è stata per anni la Lotus più veloce ed estrema in commercio. Ne furono prodotti 340 esemplari, tutti venduti ancor prima di vedere la luce.
Vista dal vivo fa ancora più scena: è intrecciata, raccolta, quasi aliena nelle forme.
La potenza, come da tradizione Lotus, è modesta: il motore 1,8 litri Rover Serie-K eroga 177 CV a 7.800 giri (che diventano 190 con il kit optional di aspirazione e scarico), ma quello che fa la differenza è il peso. La Lotus 340 R pesa solo 661 kg, così da ferma riesce a scattare fino 100 km/h in 4,4 secondi (una Gallardo prima serie ne impiegava 4,1). Il cambio invece è un manuale a 5 rapporti.
Tutti gli esemplari di Lotus 340 R sfoggiano una livrea nera e grigia, tutti senza porte e senza tetto. Non è un’auto che ama l’acqua e il maltempo, anche perché le gomme semi-slick Yokohama A038R (appositamente sviluppate per la 340 R) lavorano bene alle alte temperature.

AL VOLANTE DELLA 340 R
Avete mai guidato una Lotus Elise prima serie? La sensazione è quella di toccare l’asfalto con glutei e polpastrelli: è un’auto analogica, viscerale, che in un batter d’occhio riesce a convincervi che per godere dei piaceri della guida sportiva non serve tanta potenza, ma poco peso e un telaio messo a punto a dovere.
L’Elise vi fa sentire tutto: rumori, suoni, dossi, sassolini. Ecco, la Lotus 340 R eleva queste sensazioni al quadrato. Siete nudi, non solo sulla testa, ma anche sui fianchi, e non esiste nessun tipo di filtro tra voi e la strada. Fin dai primi metri si percepisce una maggiore leggerezza, mentre il motore è più cattivo e ha fame di giri. Lo sterzo è diretto come sulla Elise, mentre l’assetto è leggermente più esasperato.

PREZZI
Da nuova la Lotus 340 R costava 35.000 sterline (circa 50.000 euro, allora), oggi si trova a partire da 40.000 euro, con esemplari che arrivano fino a 60.000. Certo, non sono pochi, ma visti i rari esemplari è senza dubbio destinata a diventare un pezzo da collezione.
